Scrap Shack
Scrap Shack was inspired after volunteering hours composting on an urban farm in summer 2014. A compost club called The Saint Rose Scrappers, and a system called, Scrap Shack was developed for The College of Saint Rose to encourage them to be more sustainable and Eco-friendly. This program consists of a Scrap Shack station, campus-wide posters, and personal mini starter kits for students to help them reduce their waste on and off campus. Through personal photography, copywriting, and dramatic statistics, the Saint Rose Scrappers aim to make reducing waste fun and easy.
